We are looking for a motivated hand therapist (physiotherapist or occupational therapist) to join our small friendly team at our clinic in Whanganui.
We have been providing hand therapy services to the greater Whanganui region for over 10 years. We’ve got great working relationships with local GP clinics, orthopaedic surgeons, and the regional hand surgery team at Hutt Hospital. The workload is varied and covers a wide range of injuries and conditions from the fingertip to the elbow.
As a hand therapist in our clinic, you will be responsible for delivering hand therapy services to a caseload of clients; ensuring the service is compliant with allied health standards; and building relationships with other health professionals and stakeholders.
Applicants must be eligible to work in NZ; hold an APC with their relevant board and be a member of their professional body, including Hand Therapy NZ.
We are currently offering part-time hours with a flexible start date. We are very accommodating, and days/hours of work are negotiable to suit the successful candidate.
The position is suitable for both fully registered hand therapists, and therapists keen to work towards full registration. Support and on-site supervision are provided for associate hand therapists.
Financial support is provided to assist you with ongoing professional development. The remuneration package will reflect the skills and experience you bring to the position and include professional fees reimbursement.
