Search For A Registered Hand Therapist
Hand Therapy New Zealand (formerly the New Zealand Association of Registered Hand Therapists) is New Zealand's only professional association representing registered hand therapists.
Our association was established in the 1980s to provide support for our members through education, professional development, networking and representation at regional and national levels.
We also act as a central referral point for doctors and members of the public seeking the services of hand therapists in specific geographic locations.
Hand therapists are registered Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists who, through continuing education, clinical experience and independent study have become proficient in the treatment of upper extremity conditions resulting from trauma, disease and congenital deformity.
