Coastal Hand Therapy is a private practice with clinics based in the stunning seaside town of Whitianga and the gateway to the peninsula, Thames.
Coastal Hand Therapy’s overwhelming success means we require the services of another registered Hand Therapist to join the team in our Thames clinic (with the opportunity to work across both practices as caseload allows). We are open to all applicants either Registered Hand Therapist or Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapists interested in expanding their skills in this area. We service a variety of clients ranging from simple hand injuries (fractures and sprains), to multi trauma and complex injuries. We provide post-operative interventions and a comprehensive assessment, treatment and rehabilitation plan for clients. Work hours and location are negotiable with the successful applicant.
Coastal Hand Therapy will provide support, training and one-on-one mentoring to further develop understanding and knowledge in hand therapy practice, along with an annual allowance for professional development and regular in-service training. A contribution towards relocation costs could be negotiated with the successful applicant.
We welcome enquires from overseas qualified applicants as long as they can obtain registration in New Zealand.
