Do you enjoy treating post-surgical patients alongside a wide variety of trauma and sporting injuries? Handworks treats patients from a wide and varied referral base including private and public hospital referrals, A&E clinics, GPs, & Sports Physicians. We have Hand Surgeons working closely, both onsite and close by, and we value a warm association with them that enhances patient outcomes.

We are seeking a warm, motivated therapist, who values working alongside surgeons, to join our highly experienced team of hand therapists.

The ideal candidate would be a Registered Hand Therapist who is a great team player and looking expand their experience base to include a significant amount of post - surgical management and comprehensive rehabilitation. This may be either in a full time or part time role.

For the right candidate, a training position may also be offered. We have a funded, well structured, supervised training program for those on the pathway to registration, including formal one on one teaching and supervised practice. Supervision will be entirely onsite and a trainee can expect a thorough teaching program with ongoing supervision for as long as is required after registration is achieved.

Handworks has been the preferred provider of expert Hand Therapy services to Central and Eastern Auckland for more than 26 years and we are proud of our team and the quality service we provide.  We strive for excellence in all aspects of patient care and all therapists work together to enhance and challenge each other’s clinical practice. We promote a family friendly and flexible working environment that meets the needs of our staff and our patients.
